Statement of Faith

Unity of Faith

Kingdom Classical Academy is rooted within the following Statement of Faith, upon which board members, faculty, staff, and families must joyfully submit and adhere.  These doctrines will permeate the culture and curriculum of KCA.  Our statement is limited to primary Christian doctrines central to all Christian denominations, directing formation of secondary beliefs to the families and their local church.

What We Believe

We believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ His only Son, our Lord. Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and was born of a virgin, Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into Hades, and on the third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into Heaven, where He sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From Heaven He shall come to earth again to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, one holy catholic church, the communion of all true saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the gift of everlasting life.

–Apostle’s Creed

  1. We believe the Bible is the Word of God, revealing himself and the truth, and is the ultimate and infallible authority for faith and practice.
  2. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons —Father, Son and Holy Spirit, whom we are to love with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength.
  3. We believe in the true deity and full humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory.
  4. We believe that humanity was created in the image and likeness of God, but that through Adam’s sin all fell, inherited a sinful nature, and that for the salvation of lost and sinful humans, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely necessary.
  5. We believe that salvation is by grace through faith alone, and that faith without works is dead.
  6. We believe that the indwelling Holy Spirit and enables the Christian to live a godly life.
  7. We believe that those who have been saved by the grace of God enter the Kingdom of God and receive its blessings and obligations.  As citizens of the Kingdom, we are to seek the good of all by loving our neighbors as ourselves.
  8. We believe that all aspects of our lives are to be lived to glorify God under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
  9. We believe that God created us male and female in His image, that gender identity may not be detached from the biological sex of the human body, and that marriage or matrimony is a covenantal, procreative union of one man and one woman; and that God intends for children to be raised and nurtured in an environment that honors those distinctions.
  10. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved to the resurrection of life, and those who are lost to the resurrection of damnation.
